The Japanese market has begun to show increasing interest in Olive Oil. Indeed, buying Spanish ecological Olive Oil in Japan is not so weird anymore. The JAS certification is a Japanese ecological production standard. It must be applied and controlled to the very last unit that is packaged and labeled as a final product for exportation to Japan as long as this last unit already has a Certificate as a European ecological producer.
This certification represents an improvement for Santa Catalina Cooperative and proof of our product’s quality. We can brag of being one of the few cooperatives of Ciudad Real that has different ecological certificates for its organic products.
