The Soil and Fruits
Our lands enjoy an extreme continental climate, with large thermal oscillations and variable rainfall that makes the optimal cultivation of the vine.
La Solana territory is made up of a diverse variety of terrains, from big prairies and hills with small brooks. It is a landscape with an extensive range of colors, which lend to the wide variety of aromas and tastes that their fruits have.
Thanks to these fruits we produce wines of an excellent quality and backed by the seal and guarantee of the Denomination of Origin La Mancha, the largest wine-growing region in terms of cultivation area.
We manufacture local varieties such as white Airen and Macabeo and new varieties, Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc. In reds, our most important variety is Tempranillo (commonly known as Cencibel for years in Castilla La Mancha area), and as new variety, Syrah.
Traditional and local varieties, which have a very good capacity for evolution in the bottle, offer very complex wines.
New varieties, which, together with the research effort of new processes, offer excellent wines.
These are ancient olive trees, with low yield, that give our olive oils the high quality. Our priority is in the details, from their cultivation to their grinding in the best moment.
